Cynthia Tice, the founder of Lily’s Sweets, has been interested in raising awareness of healthy foods since 1978 when she opened Center Foods Natural Grocer in Philadelphia. Years later, in 2003, Tice decided she needed to give up sugar for her health. Unfortunately, chocolate proved to be the biggest problem. Instead of ditching her favorite treat entirely, Cynthia came up with her own recipe for chocolate that didn’t include refined sugars at all. Her success in this regard helped her to launch Lily’s Sweets in 2010, and the company has continued its devotion to helping consumers kick sugar through delicious alternatives ever since!

To make, measure out your coconut oil and let sit in a warm room for about 30 minutes. Put all your ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Use your hands to roll the mixture into balls, then place them on a tray and put them in the fridge. Once these balls have hardened you’ll have a delicious, healthy treat to share or keep all to yourself!
